United Knitwear was founded in the 1950s, specializing then in hand and machine knit ski sweaters.

In 1983, with the beginning of our production on modern sweater knitting machines in Brooklyn, NY, we started United Knitwear International.

We still manufacture ladies sweaters and cardigans in Brooklyn, although we have added the production of our sister company in Shanghai in order to satisfy the increasing sales of sweaters made of fancy yarns and with fully fashioned finishing.

Our customers are exclusively boutiques and specially stores in all 50 states and Canada that cater to better missy customers. (mass merchants need not apply).

We ship from our Distribution Center at 248 Flushing Ave. Brooklyn. NY 11205.

Our Sweaters are not sold as pre-packs, you can buy and size and color assortment you need. We are famous for fast reorders but since the advent of imports, we will insist on early first orders to get you
started.
